The Filipino Cultural School's Online Filipino Language Programs (OFLP) focus on comprehension and knowledge of Filipino language.
In this context, "Filipino" refers to the national language of the Philippines which is heavily based on Tagalog but incorporates elements of other languages from the Philippines and Spanish and U.S. influences. Classes will discuss the difference between Filipino and Tagalog, and why some people may use the terms interchangeably.
This season, we are will be offering two levels of Filipino language classes for adults:
Level 1 - For those who have little to no prior knowledge of Tagalog language.
Level 2 - For those who have moderate prior knowledge of Tagalog language OR have taken any of our previous Filipino language courses.
Please continue choosing this product if you are selecting Level 1. You can also use the self-assessment below if you need help determining which class you should enroll in.
